We Adhere to The Code of Ethics for Rein Members

The following is the code of ethics and guidelines under which REIN Members are to conduct themselves. These guidelines are designed for two major reasons: (a). to ensure the Members are investing in Real Estate in an ethical and legal manner as per the REIN philosophy and (b). to ensure that others, within the group as well as outside the group, are treated ethically and with respect by Members. Members who break these codes and guidelines may be asked to leave the Network immediately.

* A REIN Member will enter all agreements with the full intention of living by the terms of the agreement.
* A REIN Member must reveal all required or relevant aspects of their Real Estate transactions to all respective parties, including but not limited to realtors, bankers, buyers and partners.
* A REIN Member will not enter, nor ask another person to enter, into any agreement that is in contravention of any known law, statute or regulation. This includes, but is not limited to, providing inaccurate information or omitting of information.
* A REIN Member will operate in compliance of all federal and provincial privacy laws.
* A REIN Member will never enter into, nor counsel another REINTM Member to enter into an inappropriate transaction.
* A REIN Member who is a member of a Real Estate industry professional association (such as Real Estate agent/broker, mortgage agent/broker), and comes under investigation by their professional association, will have their REINTM Membership suspended until the matter is resolved.
* A REIN Member will always take responsibility for their own actions and therefore will complete due diligence on all properties, parties and deal structures before entering into any contractual agreements.
* A REIN Member will play a leadership role in the community and will therefore treat others, both in and out of REIN, with respect and integrity.
